History · Hotel Rostov
Hotel "Rostov" is an iconic building for the city of Pleven. Built in 1968 to a design by the distinguished architect Kiril Ruskov, it was the first building in Bulgaria constructed using the French "slip-form" technology — an innovative construction method for its time.
The architect
Architect Kiril Ruskov left a significant mark on the architectural fabric of Pleven, designing many landmark public buildings. In recognition of his contribution, in 2010 he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Pleven".
